The outcome of the election is significant for more than one ways. BJP’s emphatic victory has raised questions about future of party system in India as there seems to be no countrywide opposition to the ruling party. The victory also reinforces the fact that BJP is much ahead of electioneering tactics and use of technology in the campaigns. Other parties have to learn a lot from BJP with this regard. The most important issue is what would be the agenda of governance for the government of Shri Narendra Modi in its second term. On the one hand, there are no signs of halting of economic recession and on the other hand, ruling party has a long pending cultural agenda to implement.
